Rewind

So before I start posting in real time I thought I would recap my best couponing moments of the last month or so:

  • One week at Smith's they had boxes of pasta for $1 each when you bought 10 they took off $5 and then I had coupons for $1 off 2 boxes making them... FREE!! My food storage grew by 90 boxes of pasta that week :-)
  •  Another amazing moment was split between 2 stores. First at Walmart, I had a raincheck on the 1qt bottles of ready to feed Similac formula for $3.84 a bottle. I also had $5 off coupons. I got 19 bottles and made around $20 back on the entire thing. (19 bottles of formula for free PLUS they paid me 20 bucks, not bad!) Then I went to target and used part of what I had made from the formula, a Target 20% off coupon, and a $5 manufacturer's coupon on a Fisher Price Shake and Crawl Racer car for Max (it is a remote control car for babies, when  they shake the rattle, the car drives around. It is pretty fun to play with :-D) After getting the car I had still made close to $4 on the entire thing. 19 bottles of formula and one remote control race car for -$4
  • Next was Albertson's (I got to go here on our trip over spring break since we do not have any Albertson's even close to where I live) They had Fuze on sale for $1 and I just happened to have $1 coupons. So, 20 bottles of Fuze for... FREE :-)
  •  Finally at Walgreen's They have a sale on Scotch tape, buy one, get 2 free. Then there is a dollar off manufacturer coupon to use with the sale. for 15 rolls of Scotch tape I paid 75 cents total. (tax)

Well, there ya have it. My latest and greatest couponing experiences. I am finally quite organized and really ready to go at it full speed. I have been thinking or starting a group and couponing together. If anyone out there (people I actually know) are interested please let me know. I would be happy to impart of what I have learned and continue to learn if you are will to share your time and knowledge as well.

Joyeux Achats, B.
